The National Power Training Institute (NPTI), under the Ministry of Power, Government of India, invites nominations for a one-day field visit to Jhajjar Power Station, Haryana, on 20th August 2025. This visit is part of the SAMARTH Mission—the National Mission on Use of Biomass in Thermal Power Plants.

The initiative aims to provide thermal power plant (TPP) officials and stakeholders a first-hand experience of practical biomass co-firing operations with coal, enhancing understanding, adoption, and execution of this sustainable energy practice in Indian power plants.
